I studied Engineering Physics at UBC and now work as a software engineer in Vancouver, building high-performance C++ software for machine vision cameras. I’m interested in computer vision, machine learning, and robotics, and am always learning something new. Outside of tech, I enjoy cooking, travelling, and photography.
This website is called issledovatel, pronounced [ɪs⁽ʲ⁾ːˈlʲedəvətʲɪlʲ], which means explorer in Russian. I got this domain because I wanted to self-host a SearXNG search engine instance and thought the play on Internet Explorer was very clever. Needless to say, I did not end up using the domain for its intended purpose, but instead used it for my personal site.
